Graduate Student Council Executive Officers
Nominations for executive officers for the 2025-2026 school year are now open! This is your opportunity to help lead and shape the future of our community! Nominations are due Thursday, March 20th at 5pm- nominate yourself or a fellow graduate student! Elections will be held on March 26th. To win, a candidate must receive 50% + 1 of the votes. If no candidate achieves this, a runoff will take place on March 28th.
Available Positions:

- President: Lead the GSC, preside over Executive Board meetings, represent the GSC at official events, oversee the execution of statutes, and serve on Chancellor’s standing committees.
- Vice President: Assist the President, preside over Senate meetings, and oversee committee appointments.
- Secretary: Record minutes of GSC and Executive Board meetings, manage documents, prepare agendas, and assist in organizing events.
- Treasurer: Manage the annual budget, provide financial reports, advise on fundraising, and serve on committees related to financial matters.
Eligibility Requirements:

- Be enrolled as a graduate or professional student for the upcoming academic year.
- Be in good standing as defined by the Graduate School or respective program.
- Have completed at least seven (7) graduate or professional program hours by the end of the semester in which the term begins.
- Candidates for President or Vice President must have served or be currently serving as a GSC Executive Officer or Senator for at least one (1) semester.
