Graduate Student Council Executive Officers

Nominations for executive officers for the 2025-2026 school year are now open! This is your opportunity to help lead and shape the future of our community! Nominations are due Thursday, March 20th at 5pm- nominate yourself or a fellow graduate student! Elections will be held on March 26th. To win, a candidate must receive 50% + 1 of the votes. If no candidate achieves this, a runoff will take place on March 28th.

• • President: Lead the GSC, preside over Executive Board meetings, represent the GSC at official events, oversee the execution of statutes, and serve on Chancellor’s standing committees.
  • Vice President: Assist the President, preside over Senate meetings, and oversee committee appointments.
  • Secretary: Record minutes of GSC and Executive Board meetings, manage documents, prepare agendas, and assist in organizing events.
  • Treasurer: Manage the annual budget, provide financial reports, advise on fundraising, and serve on committees related to financial matters.

• 1. Be enrolled as a graduate or professional student for the upcoming academic year.
  2. Be in good standing as defined by the Graduate School or respective program.
  3. Have completed at least seven (7) graduate or professional program hours by the end of the semester in which the term begins.
  4. Candidates for President or Vice President must have served or be currently serving as a GSC Executive Officer or Senator for at least one (1) semester.
